I understand the concept of playing more to keep at it. And I have a wild guess that the amount has increased since it went f2p. Oh yeah and there is like ~5 times more smurfs in cs:go than ow. I cant fing imagine how bad the things are rn, not really interested to find out either. Im not saying every game, but the amount of spinbots outside of comp… And this is BEFORE F2P. Some games had more than one spinbot, so on average you actually had more than 1 spinbot each game. I played a lot of DM to level up and holy f. There was literally a spinbot like 80% of the games. And the time I made a smurf in cs:go… The leveling was a fing pain in the rectum. Some times when you are doing well in a game that you think there is no hackers, one of the enemies tilts and calls you a hacker and suddenly they start to play like a pro (btw there is so much proof that even pros hack in cs:go, they say that they dont do that anymore, but yeah right… lol). There is fing spinbots in comp and there is nothing you can do versus them. Then there is these super blatant hackers, spinbots etc. When you think someone is prolly walling and you watch the VOD after its 90% of the times you think they are walling they are walling. Some people try to hide it and some people are more blatant. The amount of hackers in the game is astounding. I havent touched it since, because I bet its a wild west right now. It was pretty trashy experience before it went f2p. Meaningful or not it’s not an experience most people enjoy being part of. When you start a new season and this is the experience you get, however, right off the start. I realize that placement matches don’t mean anything. My complaint is around the system of someone who plays solo queue and the atmosphere we constantly get put into simply because we choose to play a certain way. ( Though it is fair to say I’ve witnessed some really lacking players). My complaint doesn’t revolve around my skill or even the skill from my teammates. I realize I’m not the best player and I could be even better if I actually played this game more. Regardless of how well I do I can’t carry 5 people if the other team has at least one functioning brain cell and I certainty can’t take on a team of 6 if I’m on a team of 4. For the record these screenshots are just a small sample. “You are where you belong” and “git gud” are just blanket, “popular” excuses when no other logical explanation can be given. I can’t control 83% of my team in that scenario. I originally stated that I realize most of my issues probably stem from solo queue. Despite the numbers, we still lost that match. Note one of the images ( it should be pretty obvious to which one) I actually used the group finder. I wondered how long it would take before those would come along. If you can not carry yourself out of bronze you belong thereĪh. the experience really isn’t much different. But from what I can tell on accounts of my friends in Plat, Diamond, and Master. Granted, I’ll admit my view is rather skewed because I solo queued almost 100% of it but still. ![]() ![]() It’s this experience over the seasons I actually decided to participate in. And, for the record, it’s not just these three games. this is, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had. In all the FPS competitive games I’ve played dating back to Counter-Strike 1.6 (TWL / CEVO when they were “cool”) a little over 18 years ago and playing most titles in the genre in between. May just hang the hat up on competitive mode permanently with this season. ![]() When I switched to Widow to attempt the counter, I was asked to get off with no reason given. Well we had an Ash but she couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. Enemy team had a halfway decent Widow and nobody countered her.
